HealthCare Transitions

Individuals interested in working in a health care facility can receive on-the-job training and support through this 12 to16 week job skills program. During the course of the program, participants will rotate to different departments and gain experience and training in a wide range of work areas—from medical records to dietary services to environmental sciences and more.

Participants also will receive assistance with job placement and retention.

Eligibility: 18 to 24 year-old job-seekers with a documented disability. Most program participants are referred through Georgia Department of Labor, school systems, or through private insurance or private pay.

This program is available in Athens and Northeast Plaza (North DeKalb County).
